I am a local California artist inspired by places and people I have met. I turn ordinary moments and memories into the extraordinary. My love of bold color and simply strokes celebrate women in a very positive way. My images tell a story, my story some shy some bold. They express a universal rhythm that reminds others of their own stories, seen in a myriad of color. I also love giving life to old worn chairs. How fun is that! Working in acrylics and oil I also enjoy ink. Time flies so quickly and people and places reappear in my mind one after another. I feel totally free to paint what I feel which is possible because in my heart I still feel so young. My story is many cultures and many backgrounds that inspire my mood painting. Long walks and my garden feed my creative spirit. Sights and sounds often ignite a passion to paint which I do daily. My paintings are in private collections in the United States, China, and Canada. Being creative, is a way of life.
